Current building standards often result in homes with low energy requirements. For low-energy and passive houses in particular, the acquisition costs for conventional heating systems are often no longer worthwhile. In combination with photovoltaic and electricity storage, infrared heating is the more cost-effective and sensible alternative. The maintenance-free heating system can be used flexibly and ensures a pleasant indoor climate right from the start.

In core and mold remediation, infrared heating is used as a heat source targeted at affected areas. Due to high flexibility, it is possible to work in walls, ceilings or floors over large areas as well as selectively. The even heating of the surfaces effectively combats existing mold and prevents the formation of mold when used preventively. In addition, since there is no circulation of the air in the room, the mold spores cannot spread further.

As a rule, recreational spaces are used less. Infrared heating quickly produces the necessary heat in these rooms when needed. There is also a great advantage in areas that are difficult to integrate into the existing heating system due to an unfavorable location. Here, infrared heating is a cost-effective alternative that can be installed easily and flexibly without any construction work.

In old buildings, the installation of infrared heating can be useful. The following applies: the better the insulation, the more economical the infrared heating. The good retrofit capability is particularly evident when structural interventions, such as laying pipes or replacing the screed, are to be avoided. The only requirement for operation is an existing power connection.
